Rendering support to those struggling to perform ADLs

Our professionals at 1 Care Enrichment Centers provide Personal Support services aiming to train and assist individuals in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Everyone needs to perform and accomplish ADLs to uphold one’s well-being. These activities include eating, meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and other hygiene-related activities. Such a service may also include assistance with household chores only when specified on the support plan. Personal Support services will also give individuals access to community-based activities, which usually aren’t provided by natural or unpaid community support. As such, this service will also increase the capability of an individual to access community resources without paid support.

Personal Support services are designed to encourage community integration. Personal Support services in supported living settings are also designated to teach the person about home-related responsibilities.
